FAQs

New York City Mobile Notary FAQs

Do you travel throughout New York City?
Yes. Availability and travel fees depend on the exact location, appointment time, and service requested.
Do you have an office I can visit?
No. We are a mobile-only notary service — we travel to your home, office, hospital, or care facility.
Can you come to a hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation center?
Yes. The signer must be willing, aware of the document’s purpose, and able to communicate directly with the notary. Facility access rules may also apply.
What identification should the signer have?
A current government-issued photo ID. Contact us before the appointment if the ID is expired, unavailable, or unusual.
Should the document be signed before the appointment?
No. Unless the receiving agency or attorney has instructed otherwise, wait to sign until the notary is present.
Can the notary give legal advice or choose a certificate?
No. A notary verifies identity and performs the requested notarial act. We don’t draft documents, interpret legal language, or give legal advice.
How is mobile notary pricing calculated?
The total may include the $2 statutory fee per notarial act, travel, waiting time, printing, witness coordination, after-hours service, or other requested add-ons.
