Terms and Conditions – Steven Mobile Notary

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of Steven Mobile Notary services. By availing our services, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please carefully read this Agreement before using our services.

1. Notary Services:
Steven Mobile Notary provides professional notary services, including notarizing documents, administering oaths, and witnessing signatures. Just a heads up, a Notary Public isn’t a licensed attorney and CAN NOT give legal advice. For legal questions, it’s best to talk to an attorney.

2. Appointment Booking and Timing:
You can book an appointment with Steven Mobile Notary by phone, email, or through our website. We do our best to be on time, but please allow for a 30-minute window. The notary will let you know when they’re on their way.

3. Fees, Deposits, and Payment:
Our fees depend on the type of service and your location. We might ask for a deposit to confirm your appointment, which is non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Once the notary is on their way, the travel fee is due even if the notarization isn’t finished. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and Venmo.

4. Notarization Requirements:
To ensure a smooth notarization process, please adhere to the following requirements:
– The signer(s) must be physically present during the notarization.
– The signer(s) must be of sound mind and capable of understanding the process.
– The signer(s) must provide valid identification.
– The signer(s) must be able to communicate directly with the notary in a language understood by the notary.
– All necessary paperwork and documents must be provided for notarization. The notary may allow additional time, at their discretion, for the signer(s) to gather the required documents.
– The notary can give extra time if needed, but overage charges of $5 every five minutes will apply if it takes too long.

5. Additional Services and Fees:
For specific additional services such as real estate transactions, estate planning, nursing home/facility visits, or prenuptial agreements with marriage license signing, the notary will include the relevant fee in the remaining balance before completing the appointment.

6. Intellectual Property:
For things like real estate transactions, estate planning, nursing home visits, or signing prenuptial agreements with a marriage license, we’ll add the relevant fee to your total before finishing the appointment.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy:
 We or our licensors own all content, logos, and trademarks related to Steven Mobile Notary. You can’t use or reproduce them without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability:
While we strive to provide accurate and reliable services, Steven Mobile Notary shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or damages arising from the use of our services. It is the responsibility of the signer(s) to review the notarized documents for accuracy and completeness.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the notarization takes place. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

10. Amendments and Modifications:
Steven Mobile Notary reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes made will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to periodically review this Agreement for updates.

By utilizing the services of Steven Mobile Notary,

you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please refrain from using our services.
