How is identification confirmed in a mobile notarization session?

A few precautions to remember:

  1. the signer must have a valid unexpired drivers license or state ID
  2. The signature must be capable of comprehending the document’s contents and intent.
  3. the signer must sign the document voluntarily and be able to write his or her name without any help from other.
  4. The signer must not be under the influence of any psychoactive substances, including alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers, or painkillers.
  5. Please make sure the witness is present if one is required. A witness must be of sound mind, be at least eighteen years old, and have no personal stake in the parties.
  6. Most healthcare professionals, nurses, assistants, and other facility staff are not permitted to participate as witnesses. Additionally, the notary cannot serve as a witness.

Mobile Notary Public Fees

$2 per notarial act/signature*

  • Mobile service fee: There is a base fee of $60 for the mobile service in Queens County. The mobile service fee covers the travel expenses.
  • Flat fee rates: hospital visits, assisted living, retirement, and rehabilitation facilities have flat rates. For the current fees, don’t hesitate to contact the notary directly via phone or email.
  • Flat Rate for Airports: We offer a flat rate for notary services at JFK and LaGuardia airport
  • First Stamps: The first stamps are provided for free.
  • Deposit: Once the appointment is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of $30 is required to secure the appointment. The same non-refundable deposit of $30 will be applied if the customer cannot sign due to incorrect documentation and/or not having the proper identification.
