What is a Certified Translation?
A Certified Translation is a precise, word-for-word human translation of a document, delivered on our translation partner’s official letterhead. Each translation includes a signed and stamped Certificate of Translation Accuracy, affirming that the translation is complete and accurate to the best of the translator’s knowledge. Certified translations are typically required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), universities, courts, and various local, state, and federal government agencies for official use
Do You Offer Notarization?
Yes, we offer notarization as an optional service for all certified translations, available for a flat per-order fee. Each Certificate of Translation Accuracy in your order will be notarized by a Remote Online Notary Public. The notarization includes the signature of a representative from our translation division, along with the notary’s commission number and commission expiration date.
This notarization is valid in all 50 U.S. states.
We process notarizations in batches twice daily, Monday through Friday. Once your translation is approved, it will be added to the next available notarization cycle.
Additionally, customers may request Remote Online Notarization for personal documents through our parent company.
Can You Provide Apostille Services for My Notarized Translation?
Yes, we do offer Apostille Services for notarized translations. However, obtaining an Apostille is often a more complex process and may vary depending on the destination country, type of document, and issuing state.
If you select Apostille Services during your order, we will pause the process and contact you before charging your card. This ensures we fully understand your needs and that you’re informed about the timeline, costs, and procedures involved. Apostilles are not always processed the same day, and requirements can differ by jurisdiction.
Once we review your request, we’ll provide a custom quote and outline the next steps to proceed efficiently and accurately with your order.

Who Will Translate My Documents?
Who Will Translate My Documents?
All translations are performed by 100% human translators—no machine translation is ever used. Our team consists of professional, native-speaking linguists located around the world, each with a minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience.
Many of our translators hold relevant certifications and accreditations, although these can vary depending on country and language pair, as there is no universal standard for translator certification worldwide. Regardless of credentials, each translator is carefully vetted to ensure high-quality, accurate, and culturally appropriate translations.
What Is the Turnaround Time for Document Translations?
Turnaround time depends on several factors, including word count, language pair, current demand, translator availability, and the complexity of the source document.
For reference, 1–3 page documents (up to 250 words) are typically completed within 1–2 business days.
To ensure transparency, our expected turnaround times are clearly displayed on the checkout form, so you’ll always know what to expect before placing your order.
What Languages Can You Translate?
We offer certified translation services in over 130 languages. Please refer to our full list of supported languages to see if yours is included.
If you don’t see the language you need, contact us directly—we may still be able to assist through our extended network of professional translators.
How Do You Deliver My Translation to Me?
Certified translations are delivered as a non-editable PDF and include a signed and stamped Certificate of Translation Accuracy in English. This certificate verifies the completeness and accuracy of the translation and affirms the credentials of the translator.
Each certified translation also includes the following:
Presented on the translator’s official letterhead, which contains their ATA member number, contact information, and mailing address.
An order number and page number on every page of the translation.
A layout that closely resembles—but does not replicate exactly—the formatting of the original document.
A word-for-word translation of the source document. While some phrases may sound unnatural in English, this approach adheres strictly to certified translation standards, which prohibit interpretation or paraphrasing.
Source documents are not included in the final PDF unless specifically requested at the time of order.
